Confirmation of account data according to Article 22(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1122 for the year 2026
Article 22(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1122 states:
“All account holders shall notify the national administrator within 10 working days of changes to the account information. In addition, holders of stationary installation holding accounts, aircraft operator holding accounts and maritime operator holding accounts, shall confirm to the national administrator by 30 June each year that their account information remains complete, up-to-date, accurate and true."
In 2026, the Austrian Emissions Trading Registry will accept confirmations received until 30 June 2026. The confirmation has to be duly signed by the account holder and shall be sent to the Austrian Emissions Trading Registry by post not later than 30 June 2026.
If a qualified electronic signature is used to sign the Annual Confirmation document (in accordance Regulation (EU) No 910/2014), please send us the electronically signed document via the EHR-Portal or as an email attachment.
Please note that a missing confirmation may lead to the suspension of an account.
